One thing I didn’t predict myself saying is Newt has amazing stamina. He’s looking really good now that he’s truly engaged and fighting.

I think Newt may have been a little deflated during the debates because he knew the fix was in, and it would be impossible for him to regain the upper hand with a format and moderator that favoured Romney’s sliminess. There’s no question (imo) that if the discussion were to center on vision and policy Newt easily wipes the floor with Romney.

Ditto. I also have been amazed seeing the stamina. He seems kind of tense free too, showing occasionally frustration, yes, but never actually *stress*. Truly comfortable in his own skin. Makes me comfortable too.
