I have to laugh whenever the GOP-e say so and so isn't electable. Do they actually think NEWT is going to get fewer states than McCain?

No of course not. He gets the McCain states plus the solid GOP states of Indiana, Virginia and North Carolina that GOP lost for the first time in years with McCain. Then it is a question of getting back Colorado, Ohio and Florida which are true battlegrounds where Obama is in trouble. If Santorum is the VP then Michigan and Pennsylvania are also in play.

The only candidates that are not electable are the ones that don't run, like McCain, Dole, Ford etc.

There will be no historic vote this time for the young, black guy. It is a clear cut choice between failed policies and hope.
I am liking Santorum as VP whoever wins this nomination.
