I’m a peon, not a “very important person.” I’m not trying to start a fight with you. But this isn’t just my opinion. The only print source that carried the rumor was a 1997 piece in “Lesbian and Gay New York” by Ann Northrup. Fact. Northrup, in contemporaneous interviews, acknowledged that she liked to “out” people for political purposes. That’s a fact. Her hit piece was never verified, although many MSM sources tried at the time. That’s true.

Why perpetuate hateful gossip that smears the deceased son of Brit Hume? And, though I have political disagreements with Bill Paxon and his wife, why perpetuate malicious and false gossip about him?

The part that is my opinion is that this 15-year-old fabrication has resurfaced at this time solely for the purpose of inciting gay activists to attack Newt Gingrich. Maybe this story has been spoonfed to Ann and Drudge by the Romney campaign, and maybe they believe it, I don’t know. It could be like the Abram’s hit piece on Newt vis a vis Reagan that some are speculating (and I believe) was spoonfed to simultaneous media sources by the Romney campaign.

In any case, imo, since it’s a fact that the story has never been verified, was originated by a flaming gay agenda magazine 15 years ago, and it’s particularly malicious towards Brit Hume’s son, it doesn’t belong in the political conversation.

I’m sorry you disagree.
