This is Newt Gingrich on a phone interview with Fox News, discussing the recent attacks on him by Ann Coulter among other prominent conservatives. Newt says he’s not sure what motivates Coulter’s attacks on him (other than the fact that she’s obviously in Romney’s corner), and calls her part of the “old order”, resistant to bold change in Washington.

The Matlan/Carville marriage has always bothered me.....ONE of them is a LIAR! Or maybe both of them are.
It's most likely that both are, which was my point. The political posturing is a role that each play, where they try to deliver their lines in a way that evokes maximal emotional response from the audience. The real objective is money and power FOR THEMSELVES.
But really, my theory is that her book sales are way down. Mainly because once you've read one or two Ann Coulter books, you've read them all. Now she is resentful of us because we no longer buy her Lexis Nexis driven drivel.
And I think the never having had kids and a family has effected her. When you are pusing 50, still living life hanging out with your gay friends in the big city every night, I guess you tend to start to become different.
Something weird, sometimes, happens to women at this age.
She needs to eat something. She is way too thin.
