For a guy who says he doesn’t care, you sure used a lot of words to tell us that.
Go back and read what I actually said. I don’t care what one religion thinks about another because of their particular interpretation of scripture and disagreement with another or of what any of you believe about the true nature of GOD. There are many religions and even many sects within Christianity who believe different things, some on minor points some on major ones. Fight among yourselves if you wish and I’m sure your will, you’ve done this for thousands of years now. You are entitled to agree or disagree.
I do however care and I care very deeply that our Constitution says you all have the right to believe as you see fit. The Constitution says there is no “established religion” and even gives me the right to not believe without fear of prosecution or retribution by the government. The First Amendment gives us all the right to express our views as it likewise allows us to dismiss those views with which we do not agree.
I will defend with my life your right to believe what you will about God just as I will likewise defend the right of a Jew, Mormon, Catholic, Buddhist, Wiccan, even dare I say a Muslim. As long as you are not putting a knife to me or trying to blow me up or force me to believe as you do, as long as you believe in my and everyone’s Constitutional right to live as a free person with all the individual Liberties our Constitution affords, I don’t care what you believe, but I defend your right to believe.
