This is a little like the last debate. The questions steer Newt and Mitt to their worst battles and allow Santorum and Paul to look more sober. That makes them all look like they can’t get any traction. They’re all going to get a B- again tonight.
Santorum needs to stop talking about a “balanced budget.” It’s about CUTTING GOVERNMENT SPENDING. Otherwise, balanced budget = RAISING TAXES.
