Why does Romney get to talk so much more than Newt?

Newt's on the ropes. I hate to say it, but he is. The pre-debate attack seems to have taken the life out of him.

Gotta give the devil his due, Mitt is very well prepared, has the facts and arguments well in hand, and has been spot-on in sticking it to Newt.

Blitzer insists that Newt comment on his negative attacks on Romney. Romney jumps in with, "why won't Newt say to someone in person what he says in negative ads?"
