What is this Santorum bashing?

He endorsed Specter over Toomey eight years ago. Supporting a RINO over a true conservative is an inexcusable death-penalty offense. Unless that RINO is Dede Scozzafava. Then it's forgotten in less than two years.

His excuse for supporting Specter over Toomey was Specter agreeing to back the justices being brought to the supreem court.......not that that is a good excuse. Specter was ranking minority member....I think....someone correct me on this.....????

He explained that, Specter was head of the council that suggested and approved Judges. If he lost their might be a liberal put in his place, and Santorum wanted to make sure conservative judges were nominated. Santorum looks at the BIG picture and what is best for the country. You don’t understand politics, you sometimes have to choose what will have the best long term effect. Like voting for Romney over McCain because Romney might be better. But four years latter you vote against Romney and for someone more conservative.
