The sad truth is, however, that Santorum staying in the race means Romney will certainly win the nomination.

Santorum's people and supporters will use tongihts base as energizing him all the more...I don't think he's about to step out of the ring any time soon..and yes it will take votes from Newt...Paul too will remain....neither doing us any good now as Newt needs to pick up supporters going forward.

If Santorum is a "selfish" about this run as some say and doesn't stand down because he wants the limelight....then I will surely blame SAntorum if Romney gets it.

If Romney wins, it won't just be because he was in the race. If Newt was on his game, he could have given himself the necessary momentum to win Florida.

I'm very upset with Newt right now. I typically send my candidate of choice a donation after a debate, but tonight, I'm holding off.

Romney may have a shot at buying the election. If he can saturate the air waves in every state with lies like he did here in Floriduh it could happen. The country has an ignorant voter base,we maybe doomed.

Why isn’t Gingrich the selfish one? He lost Iowa, he couldn’t even tie Santorum in New Hampshire, but he kept going and took the votes from Santorum in South Carolina.

At least, that is as rational a way of looking at is as claiming that Newt somehow is entitled to the votes, and Santorum is evil because he wants to be President.
