Catholics in the United States are rising up in a Tide of Resistance to the unjust actions and edicts of the Obama Administration. They might determine the outcome of the 2012 Presidential election in the United States...
...President Barack Obama chose Catholics for his administration who defy the teaching of their own Church. If that wasn't bad enough, all of the subterfuge and sophistry which surrounded his promise to honor religious liberty and respect freedom of conscience in the implementation of his "Affordable Care Act" was unmasked this week.
...An Unjust Edict was issued by Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of Health and Human Services. It demanded that Catholic hospitals and institutions dispense contraceptives (some of which are abortifacients) and offer sterilization under the so called "Affordable care Act". This amounts to government trying to force the Catholic Church to violate conscience. Failure to do so will bring punitive measures.
This came one day after Pope Benedict XVI addressed a group of US Bishops... He warned them of the growth of radical secularism in the United States and the accompanying threats to the fundamental Right to Religious Freedom...
... Our insistence as Catholic citizens of a recognition in the positive law of the fundamental Human Right to Life is about the future of authentic freedom. Human rights - such as the Natural Law Right to Life - and human freedoms such as the freedom to be born - are goods of human persons. When there is no human person to exercise them all the rhetoric extolling them is nothing but empty air and sloganeering....
...This administration has also failed to defend Religious Freedom as a fundamental human right. It has proven its disregard in its denial of conscience exceptions to Catholic institutions under the so called "Affordable care Act"...

I am a regular participant in the March for Life. I don't agree with you. Eevidence obtained by talking with folks there suggests that, quite simply, you are wrong. These are NOT demonicRat voters.
The Catholics at the March (the adults, anyway) are a subset of (for lack of a better term) the "True Believers"; those who believe and practice the Church teachings. "Practice" includes voting.
During a very good year, the March will draw a few hundred thousand folks, mostly Catholics. That's a small subset of the Catholic Population of these United States. It's even a small subset of the about 50% of Catholic voters who regularly vote for Republicans.
Catholics are two voting blocs in these US. One bloc is those for whom “Catholic” describes a faith and a religion which they believe and practice, and which forms the basis of their way of life. These vote primarily for Republicans. The other bloc is those for whom “Catholic” is a secularized cultural identity. They were baptized as children, but do not believe the faith, nor practice the religion, nor allow it to have any particular influence over their lives. These primarily vote for Democrats.
Not my parish. The day after Obama was elected, I said a special intention for our President-elect. When I said his name, there was a chorus of boos from my students...6th graders.
It was a teachable, and Kodiak, moment. lol
Correction: Some people who you know that are Marxists falsely claim to be Catholics.
Fecal logic. Catholics who march against Roe v. Wade in the rain don't vote for pro-infanticide candidates.
I think that you are wrong about that. Many, if not most, of the standing-in-the-rain pro-life demonstrator Catholics vote for Democrats. They want high taxes on the rich, to be spent on social services, and they oppose Republican policies on law and order. They support very strong protections for organized labor, high minimum wages, affirmative action and strong regulations. They despise Republicans as war mongers. They stand for complete amnesty for Hispanic illegal aliens. Some pull the lever for pro-choice Democrats as the lesser of two evils ... but many others do so with great enthusiasm.
How big a demographic do you really think that is?
How big a demographic do you really think that is? I’m not talking about union-members who might be pro-life and vote Democrat, so much as about these pro-amnesty, pro-affirmative action, anti-law and order, anti-war, pro-life Catholic Democrats. Sounds like a very small group of people, comparatively speaking.
Do they have any idea Obama will eventually hook or by crook get the Catholic Hospitals to say no mas and exit the Heath Care Market by either closing shop oe selling out?
Do they have any idea what evil comes their way or are they finally waking up?
