He is blaming the banks for giving loans to people who couldn’t afford them? Congress redlined the banks and forced them to give those loans. And where is individual responsibility for people who took out such loans?
How about going after Bawney Fwank and Chris Dodd who strongarmed the banks. Ooops, they are Democrat nomenclatura. Now he’s going into the class warfare angle.

His ‘forcefullness’ about China not playing fair w trade and stealing our IP are right out of Trump’s talking points (IIRC Newt has mentioned it as well). HOWEVER, neither Newt nor Trump wanted to set up yet ANOTHER gov’t agency to handle it.
On to rich people and taxes. TAX the RICH. He’s prepared to make reforms.
