Boehner sounds drunk on his arse!
Normally I follow these things, but two nights of this stuff?
“just damn”
Dont look directly at the Won.
Unless he is a vampire. Then the only way to save him is to run a stake though his skeevy heart.
Bring a cross.
Hear, Hear!
For the drinking game, here are the words:
Me, my, I, for starters. Then there are:
Middle class, and fair (in any form).
Sorry, I'm a cop out. I can't stand to listen to the guy, but will drink every beverage the First lady brings to me...
5.56mm
I have the Tv on and The Biggest Loser is on.
BTTT. Awesome thread title!!
Boehner was calling out names of various folks, and he was slurring....but then again, I have always considered him an alcoholic.
Here's tonight's live thread, FRiends...
Another thread worth checking out:
The Annual State of the Union Drinking Game (Vanity)
;-)
You’re probably not watching Fox News but that would apply there too...Krauthammer. He still doesn’t get it. He did say if he pronounces Newt dead a 3rd time he should lose his medical license and I say he ought to turn in his pundit card too.
If lies are crap. Obama has severe chronic diarrea.
Well, here goes.
LORD PLEASE HELP ME TO NOT HAVE A STROKE OR BREAK MY TV!!
I’m not going to look at him, I’ll just listen and scream alot!!
I have made a decided to go silent on this one, no viewing or listening, period.
I have this daydream that Obama is up there and his teleprompter shorts out and after a couple dozen “uhhhhs” and six or seven “um um um”s and a couple “I I I”s, an aide rushes up with a paper copy and he continues on for twenty minutes never looking up at the audience.
Oh, and when he steps away from the podium it is obvious he’s wet himself.
Ah, daydreams...
Arkansas Ping!
In a perfect world Krauthammer would just retire and take McCain. He could help McCain kind of a buddy program. Thanks guys.
That good drinking game that I think can keep up with LOL!
That good drinking game that I think can keep up with LOL!

“Five Things to Watch for in President Obamas State of the Union Address
Posted by Katie Boyd on January 24, 2012
If President Obamas past addresses are any indication, this years State of the Union will sound like a broken record in more ways than one. In all three previous addresses President Obama has delivered, he has called for more of the same failed policies that are hurting the economy, and offered nothing more than empty rhetoric when it comes to addressing the spending-driven debt crisis and creating a better environment for job creation. With the past as prologue, heres a look at what Americans can expect to hear from the president this evening:
MORE JOB-CRUSHING TAX HIKES. In every State of the Union Address President Obama has given, he has called for job-crushing tax hikes that will hit an estimated 50 percent of small business income, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation. Economists warn that the presidents tax hikes would discourage hiring by many smaller businesses and even members of his own party refuse to support them. The bipartisan opposition to raising taxes should come as no surprise, as the president himself once warned that higher taxes mean smaller paychecks and fewer jobs.
MORE FAILED STIMULUS SPENDING. In 2009, President Obama delivered his first address to a joint session of Congress exactly one week after signing the trillion-dollar stimulus into law promising it would save or create 3.5 million jobs. The plan was a bust leaving Americans with 600,000 fewer jobs than when the stimulus was enacted, and an unemployment rate stuck above eight percent for a record-breaking 35 consecutive months. Two years later, President Obama made his call for more government spending the focus of his 2011 State of the Union, proposing to redouble the same stimulus efforts that fell short. Out-of-touch Democrats have proven time and again that they wont let the stimulus failures get in the way of their reckless spending spree, expect more of the same this year.
MORE EMPTY RHETORIC ON FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. In 2009, President Obama said it has never been more important to
do what it takes to bring this deficit down, promising to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. One year later, he warned that if we dont take meaningful steps to rein in our debt, it could damage our markets, increase the cost of borrowing, and jeopardize our recovery all of which would have an even worse effect on our job growth and family incomes. The discrepancy between President Obamas rhetoric and his record is glaring. Since taking office, Democrats in Washington have piled $4.6 trillion on to the national debt which has now eclipsed the size of the entire U.S. economy and tripled the deficit. Instead of leading, President Obama punted with his 2011 budget a remarkably weak and timid document that failed to cut spending or address the skyrocketing debt. And it appears the president is poised to offer more the same failed policies this year, further extending the damage Democrats policies are causing the economy.
MORE WORDS WITHOUT ACTION ON REINING IN REGULATIONS. Last year, President Obama ordered a top-to-bottom review of government regulations and pledged that when we find rules that put an unnecessary burden on businesses, we will fix them. The results of the review drew yawns and more sharp criticism from job creators who said they did not go far enough to roll back the onslaught of red tape coming out of Washington. There are currently more than 4,000 regulations in the pipeline, 219 of which will have a major impact on the economy. If President Obama is serious about keeping his pledge, he should urge Senate Democrats to pass the nearly 30 bipartisan jobs bills many of which rein in excessive government regulations - collecting dust on their doorstep.
A NEW SLOGAN? With observers already characterizing the State of the Union as President Obamas big campaign speech, it only seems reasonable to expect more slogans than solutions from this years address. Since President Obama decided to stop governing months ago, it is clear that 2011s winning the future has already given way to 2012s winning the next election. So what fleeting catch phrase does Presidents Obama have lined up for us this year? We cant wait to see.
