John King, CNN: "You make your case there passionately for President Obama. But also understand that this is a tough reelection climate for any president, Democrat or Republican in this economy. Because of your history with Speaker Gingrich, what goes through your mind when you think of the possibility, which is more real today than it was a week or a month ago, that he would be the Republican nominee and that you could come back here next January or next February with a President Gingrich?"
Rep. Nancy Pelosi: "Let me just say this. That will never happen."
King: "Why?"
Pelosi: "He's not going to be President of the United States. That's not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it, it isn't going to happen."
King: "Why are you so sure?"
Pelosi: "There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative. I don't even think that's going to happen."

Newt was just asked this morning on the Today Show and Newt responded “I have a simple challenge (for Pelosi), spit it out, tell us what it is”
Wow! Gotta love Newt’s way of tackling problems head-on.
Glass houses biatch. Someone needs to drop her.
The only thing that could turn me away from Newt is if she has photos of the two of them in bed together. Then I would have SERIOUS doubts about his judgment and mental stability.
If this is true, a Gingrich nomination would guarantee Obama’s reelection and everyone on the left who knows about it will want Gingrich to be the nominee.
If Pelosi is lying, we have nothing to worry about.
And if Pelosi is telling the truth, what strategic reason would motivate her to bring it up now?
if shes suggesting shes going to use material that she developed while she was on the ethics committee, that is a fundamental violation of the rules of the House and I would hope that members would immediately file charges against her the second she does it.
Put out five square yards of flypaper and put a bottle of cheap scotch in the center.
LOL!!! That’s a good one!
Or she knows the electronic voting machines (supplied by a foreign entity) are going to tally a victory for Obama by manipulating the votes in each state.
Perhaps Obama will get 98% of the vote like Saddaam Hussein used to be accustomed to...
Or this.
Tardive dyskinesia is a difficult-to-treat form of dyskinesia (disorder resulting in involuntary, repetitive body movements) that can be tardive (having a slow or belated onset).[1] It frequently appears after long-term or high-dose use of antipsychotic drugs,[N 1] or in children and infants as a side effect from usage of drugs for gastrointestinal disorders prevention.[N 2][2]
Tardive dyskinesia most commonly occurs in patients with psychiatric conditions who are treated with antipsychotic medications for many years. One study reported that within the first four years of using antipsychotic medications, 18.5 percent of young adults develop symptoms. Furthermore, 31 percent of those over 55 years of age develop tardive dyskinesia symptoms in the same time frame.[13] Other estimates suggest that it occurs in 15-30% of patients receiving treatment with antipsychotic neuroleptic medications for 3 months or longer.[citation needed] A study being conducted at the Yale University School of Medicine has estimated that 32% of patients develop persistent tics after 5 years on major tranquilizers, 57% by 15 years, and 68% by 25 years.[14] Other estimates suggest that with each year of neuroleptic use, 5% of the patients will show signs of tardive dyskinesia, i.e., 5% after one year, 10% after two years, 15% after three years with no clear upper limit.[15] Eventually, according to these estimates, if on the drugs long enough, the majority of patients will develop the disorder.[16] The incidence of tardive dyskinesia varies with the type of neuroleptic (e.g., haloperidol (Haldol) more often than perphenazine (Trilafon)), daily dose and duration of treatment (the higher the daily dose and the longer the duration of treatment, the higher the risk).
Maybe Newt did some other things with Nancy on that famous couch.
I would think that what she is doing is pure and simple threatenig “blackmail”.
She’d better be very, very careful.

Good.
Is Pelosi ‘threatening’ the Speaker? Whatever it is will hurt her also....would be my guess.
I remember that.
Let's hope it happens.
It could be the Republican Establishment she’s threatening and not
particularly Newt. She is bound to have any access to ‘files’ on anyone she wants through her boy, 0.
And of course any little bad thing with Republicans is 1,000 times worst then anything a democRAT does because unlike the democRATS, the Republicans get rid of vermin. Just a thought.
Newt Challenges Pelosi: “Spit It Out!”

Just to be clear, Newt DID NOT pay a fine nor was it an admission of guilt. The 300K was what the expenses of the litigation were.
Yes, That CNN! Hard to believe
I agree with your take. Pelosi’s outburst indicates to me that she wants to stop Newt and help Romney get nominated. She’s a nasty piece of work, but she’s smart enough to see through the mainstream media nonsense that Romney is more electable.
