You're probably right. But when you have a 40 point lead in a high school game, the honorable thing to do is to give your second and third stringers a chance to play.

High school football should be, first and foremost, a chance for kids to play and possibly have access to college scholarships. Not an opportunity for the coach to run up the score, rub it in and glorify himself.

In my era, it was called sportsmanship.

But again, no sympathy for the Muzzie punks who gang beat the QB. They should have the book thrown at them. Not because they are Muzzies but because that is far worse sportsmanship than kneeling on a ball with a 41 point lead.
