And a trial is parties (a prosecution and a defense) explaining their point of view on a subject (the guilt or innocence of the accused) and then the judge or jury deciding which one convinces them.

In court the focus is on the defendant.
In a court you have chosen people or the judge listening to EVIDENCE.
The audience is not involved at all and shouldn’t be.
