If there are elites who really believe this, then I think they are delusional. Santorum probably can’t stay in much after Florida and Ron Paul has his ceiling of around 10% nationally. I expect the primaries will deliver a winner between Newt and Romney and there won’t be any justification for even talking about a brokered convention.

Those are my thoughts exactly. Given Mitts ceiling at 30-35%...I think this is Newt's to lose....especially if he can win Florida. If they try something sneaky...they will lose the party and that means losing power. That is the LAST thing they want.

If Newt becomes president...the list of emails to GOP talking heads that I will send telling them to stick it...and "See, I told you so" (To quote Rush...which is appropriate given he is saying run a person who articulates the conservative position) will be EPIC!
