Assuming you aren’t playing on the word “candidate”, and are really trying to say that Gingrich is the best conservative who ran for President, you can’t possibly believe that because you supported TWO OTHER CANDIDATES before you came around to Gingrich.
And if we had done a poll in May here at FR, Gingrich wouldn’t have gotten 10% of the vote for “conservative”.
The Census bureau has been using the same methodology including 12 to 20 million illegal aliens and about 10 million Legal Permanent Residents (green card holders.) It has distorted our electoral system as well shifting federal dollars, which are distributed on that basis.
It is what it is, Paul is an idiot, Santorum, as much as he has to offer just isn't it this time....Romney.....no thanks.
So all we have is Newt.
If Newt does 50% of what he says he's going to do, that will be a hugh start, series!
Obama again on the other hand will end this Country as you and I know it.

Might as well add dead people to the census. That’s another demographic that votes 100% for the Democrats.
Remember that for the first time that The white house took control of the whole Census. The Republicans squabbled for about 5 minutes, and then did nothing about it. As usual.

I’m not sure what you meant, but I said what I meant. Clearly, many people are supporting Gingrich because they believe he is the best way to stop Romney, and that is what is important, more important than supporting the most conservative candidate.
But there’s no way he was the most conservative candidate in the race, much less the most conservative person we wanted in the race. He wasn’t even on the RADAR for most conservatives when this race started.
Of the possible and actual candidates, I’d say Gingrich ranks above Paul, Romney, and Huntsman. Maybe also above Roemer. He certainly, in THIS century, has not spoken or acted more conservatively than Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, or Rick Santorum. I’d argue that in this century, he wasn’t more conservative than candidate Tim Pawlenty, or candidate possible Paul Ryan.
Having explained that, I’m not sure how we got into a discussion of Gingrich in an article about the Census.
Illegals should count for no more than 3/5 of a person, if they are counted at all.
They have to keep the big states big.
Without illegals, California’s population would be sinking.
They need those House seats. They need those electoral votes.

Be that as it may, yes, Gingrich is the best by far to defeat the bamster.
Some time ago I do recall when Gingrich was a pariah here, but I think we've all come to realize exactly what the stakes are here.
My fervent prayer is that Gingrich does half of what he says he going to do, that in and of it's self will go a long way in correcting the course we're on.
I'm also not naive enough to recognize that this mess we're in is not going to be corrected by one man, we're going to have to correct many years, generations if you will, of indoctrinated people entering and voting in the system.
This Country is split, there is no argument, we cannot discount those who have been indoctrinated, it's going to be a tough battle....especially when they depend on funds from sugar daddy.
I hope we can do it at the ballot box, but I doubt it.

If you get the chance, listen to Newt’s post-election speech from Saturday night. I recall two things. First, he came close to promising martial law on the border. Second, he called out a west Texas federal judge by name as a dictator for threatening a school superintendent with jail if “God” was said at a high school commencement.
Gee, why not just let the entire population of Mexico vote in our elections? Allow cats, dogs, rats, etc. to vote too. Hell, at they have far more intelligence than the average democrat. If I were running things, NO one would be allowed to vote w/ out proof of citizenship & voter registration. States that do not purge their rolls of dead people, etc. don’t get their votes counted in any election. Ditto states that do not send absentee ballots to our military people overseas on time. They just forfet all of their votes. After all, what is good for the goose is good for the gander...

IIRC, there is a federal law that requires Secs of State to do just that on a periodic basis. The Bamster and his Black Panther Attorney General illegally told the states they did not have to comply.
Having done quite a bit of genealogy using census, they did indeed count non-citizens. In some years, they asked if the person was naturalized, year of naturalization, and country of origin. But I’m thinking in those days they were mostly legal immigrants.
I think they should only count legal immigrants. But if you think about it, that is the actual problem — that we can COUNT illegals, but can’t deport them. And if you decide to let people stay in the country, they are defacto “legal” whether you call them that or not.
Holder is fixing it up so Obama can’t lose. The illegals will be voting for Obama as will their deceased illegal alien relatives and the Americans they have murdered.
