I heard on C-Spam earlier that the winner gets 11, then the remaining are broken up 2 per district for whoever won the district gets the 2 delegates. There is a total of 25 delegates (used to be 50, but they gave up 25 to be “1st in the south”).

In the next primary state Florida, it has only half the delegates as the state once had because Florida moved up their primary to January 31st, and they were penalized for it.

I never really grasped why they insisted on doing so, but the GOP-E are screwed now. Newt’s MO will carry him riding high into FL.

Pinging the three sharpest analysts I know on FR: why again do y’all think FL moved their primary up, at the expense of half their delegates?
