Paraphrasing Newt: A president who can create a Chinese-Canadian energy relationship is one that is a threat to America.

True. One of the many threats this jackass poses to America.

And Brit Hume and Karl Rove try to say the win is not really that big a deal????

I thought CNN gave Newt more credit than the Fox gang.

As of now 21 of the 25 SC delegates are called for Newt the last 4 could also go for him...this could end up being a complete and utter blow out.

GO NEWT GO!!!

I’m voting for Newt all the way. He is inspiring us right now. He is running to the right and throwing us the red meat we’ve been after. But I have no illusions about him. He is a broken field runner who if elected president will not be good on illegal immigration and will try to draw grand (and grandiose) compromises with the Democrats. In his mind he is a brilliant historical figure so of course he is going to do this or at least try to. Newt is not the principled Conservative that Ronald Reagan was even though he talks that way right now to win primaries.

Freepers and other good conservatives will have to reign Newt in if he becomes President. Much depends on what kind of House and Senate we have with how many Democrats. Will Harry Reid be reduced to Minority Leader? I am ready to be disappointed. He will be a backstabber. 1000x better than Obama but still someone we will have to deal with. He talks big boy conservative now but I see a big moderate emerging if elected.

We need a solid Republican House and Senate. Then Newt can make Freeper dreams come true such as nullifying Obama-Care and abolishing the EPA and the Department of Education. Such as reigning in the eco-anarchists in so many Federal agencies who tyrannize the private sector

I had Fox on 15 minutes before the polls closed (5:45 pm central time), but turned the TV off to read awhile. About 6:15, I turned the TV on and Fox had already announced Newt the winner with 1% or less of the vote in. They must have been getting an earful from the exit polls; that’s all I could surmise.

And while the others had what-you’d-expect concession speeches, Newt’s was generous to them and he took it to Obama. He acted presidential, as if he’d just won the nomination. I thought it a great moment.

Does Bill O’reilly have a ‘change of heart?’ I hope so.

You were never going to support a Bush again, either. Until you did. Newt = more of the same.
