You're not supposed to mention the garmies around here ... and whatever you do, do not post a picture of them!

Besides, deferring to some of the pinged experts, I don't think that you're supposed to wash them. Instead, it is my understanding that you wear them until they are a lost cause. Then you burn them in a holy fire after you cut out the sacred masonic symbols and righteously bury them in a consecrated place.

Mormon garments can (and should) be washed, although most LDS I know wash them completely separate from other clothes but I don’t think it matters.

To dispose of them, the sacred symbols are to be cut out and burned and the rest can be tossed, however some burn the whole things.
