Then again, the average "fasionably" dressed gent from the early-mid '70s (I was there), with his loud, giant-plaid polyester-seersucker bell-bottomed leisure suits, elevator shoes, and shirts with fly-away Peter Pan collars and four-button mega-wide cuffs, and massive plumage of hair in every manifestation, from sideburns and mustaches to mutton-chops and shag haircuts, would make today's most menacing Goth look like a rabbit! {^)
