If Rubio is smart he will either endorse Gingrich or stay out....
The Establishment will pull out all of the stops...
First the obvious Establishment guy...Jeb Bush will endorse Romney.
They he will step on the Toes and Remind Rubio that Jeb is his mentor and he owes him.
Rubio will likely succumb to the pressure just like Fake TParty Nikki Haley did.
The E boys will get down and dirty now....just watch.
With the smack down and the 2 standing 'O"s when Newt was skinning that CNN piece of shiet - they know it gave Newt a good boost -
I think Marianne's 15 minutes of 'infame', the media won't go there again...
Newt singed their wings big time.
Glenn Beck should be on that list!
I’d add GHWB but he could not be called a conservative...
I was spanked by him before while trying to do something like that. He was right and I was wrong and in the end the spanking was kinda sexy.
As our fearless leader makes clear ion his tagline:
“Rebellion is not just brewing, rebellion is here!!”
So Sean Hannity and Newt go way back and both rose to prominence in the same 7 years. Lets say 1988 to 1995
Thanks... I had already read it.
Did they identify the opposition? If the opposition is Mitt he will not benefit from the onslaught.
It sounded like land sea and air attack. So it’s not just going to be Mitt. D.C. leaks? However they did say it could backfire. Code words seem to be erratic, grandiose etc. etc. etc.
;)
Wasn’t it Armey who once referred to Congressman Frank as ‘Barney Fag’?
Thanks!! LOL
Good retort. ;>)
That can change though with good marketing.
Thanks.
yes
“15 years ago today Newt was the 1st Speaker in history reprimanded for ethics violations. How will Newt answer this? Its worrisome.”
In case you are reading your replies, if you had taken just a few seconds to look up those charges you’d found out that they were bogus; only 1 stuck and it was later found to be bogus as well.
Newt took on the establishment Republicans, won the 1994 elections after 40 YEARS of the establishment Republicans saying it wasn’t possible, and they went after him for it.
So, how will Newt answer to that? Simple, with the truth about it.
Erick Erickson on CNN said that his contacts in DC tell him the establishment and some evangelical groups want to pump enough money into Santorum’s campaign to keep him in the race.
They have no expectation that he can win.
They want him in as a spoiler to block Newt and benefit Romney.
Glen Beck (refusing to examine Newt’s message like he asked us to do with the liberals).
Beck’s analysis of the enemy included clips of what they believe. If he played Newt’s message on his show to reveal what Newt believes, Beck would expose himself as the poser that he is.
Beck is constantly presenting people that Newt says “got some things right”, and associates the things those people got wrong as if Newt supports those as well i.e. FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Wilson...
Beck=Associations Disease (Juvenile)
I don't think I've been so overjoyed at an election win since Dubya beat Algore in 2000, or Kerry in 2004. Maybe the 2010 midterm election results come close to the lift Gingrich's win has given me tonight, but just maybe.
This is stunning. Spectacular. Better than I'd even hoped for. I see tonight's win as a powerful validation of everything we Tea-publicans stand for, and a strong endorsement of the power of the people to reject the slimy manipulations of the ruling class establishment.
The people stood in near unison against the establishment tonight, and chose the person they most trust to take it all the way to Obama in November. Naturally, the establishment is horrified by tonight's results (as witnessed by the dour faces across the news reporting media), but we don't care. This thing is only getting started, and the message is: The People will not be denied!
With this huge boost of momentum, and with a mother lode of campaign dollars that are sure to flood the Gingrich campaign in the coming days, I have no doubt that Newt can take Mitt down a second time in Florida. I agree that a second loss in Florida should pretty well seal Mitt's doom.
Newt is an old time Gentleman.
His graciousness to the losers, compared to their tirades against him, made them look even worse.
Concession speeches? Nothing by long campaign speeches, and small character to attack the winner. 'Told more about themselves than Newt.
