In the old days FR was a place where most folks would say if his wife can’t trust him how can the country.

These days Rick Santorum tripped Newt and Newt ended up coupled with Marianne and Calista while married to others.

Change you can believe in.

I hate it when people say that. Especially nOObs. These are "the old days" someday. Anybody who laid such judgement to a politician's wife was ridiculed, "back in the day." And will be again.

I will not trust Newt ever, any more than I would 99% of the other politicians.

However, this is NOT the same as Clinton. Clinton, under legal investigation for a sexual harassment claim, lied under oath. His affairs were ongoing, uncounted, in the Oval Office, and gave a totally unqualified human access to the most sensitive data in our government so that he could get a blow job.

Newt has confessed his sins. He admits it was wrong. And most men who make a religious conversion late in life do so seriously.

However, I will never trust Newt...but I will vote for him, if he is still in when AZ votes. I’d have preferred Perry, but that option is gone. I dislike Santorum, find Mitt even less trustworthy, and Paul is a nut.

Besides, no one I would trust is running.

I think the level of defense of Gingrich is proportionate to the number of times a person has cheated on their spouse.

I agree! It’s a different world, specially here at FR!

Open marriage? That is so bad.

I sure wouldn't trust his wife. She has very bad judgement in who to do her plastic surgery.

Given us any evidence that Newt has cheated on Calista or concede the possibility that he has changed and happily married.

No, in the news today it’s praise Newt because nobody else can win.

Except for Santorum in Iowa.
