How will the details revealed by Marianne Gingrich regarding her former husbands personal life and Newt Gingrichs defiant response play out among the GOP presidential primary electorate?
But its worth keeping in mind that even before Marianne Gingrich went public, Newt Gingrich was already facing tough odds when it comes to his support among women nationally a factor that underscores the argument made by his GOP rivals against his electability in the fall.
There typically tends to be a gender gap in presidential general elections, as women vote more Democratic than men.
But a CNN/Time/Opinion Research survey conducted Jan. 11-12 showed that among national adults, Gingrich faces the biggest gender gap of all the GOP contenders.
If the general election had been held in mid-January before news of the Marianne Gingrich interviews had broken -- the CNN survey shows President Obama would have taken 54 percent to Gingrichs 41 percent. Among only men, that gap narrows to a six-percentage point difference: 49 percent for Obama and 43 percent to Gingrich.
But among women, it widens to 18 points: 58 percent for Obama and 40 percent for Gingrich.

So what?
Or the people of North Alabama.
He very much was right.
So did the buggy whip industry, for its time. If I had the money, then I could start a textile factory in Lancaster, SC and it would maybe employ a tenth of the people in your pic. That industry is either very automated or it has moved to very low labor companies. That is the nature of very low skilled labor.
Personally, I have more faith in Americans. We are a people that should be living on our ingenuity and inventiveness. In our ecoomy (well, when we have an economy) we must constantly be improving our skills, not only in an effort to remain the best in the world, but to also satisfy our own personal drive for self improvement.
All of that said, I will concede that we have been handcuffed by decades of gov’t intervention and will not be able to get back to where we should be performing until we can get the gov’t off our backs. They are doing nothing but dragging us down.
A nation of people with only mental acumen won't last much longer.
Suggest you check the demographics of the South Carolina vote. Newt took all categories except one: liberal. And that went to Mitt. Wonder why? Also suggest that you immediately cease and desist from trashing our last best conservative shot of defeating Romney (at least on FR). If you wish to trash Newt, please feel free to do so over on Faux News forum, or TrueBlueRinos.com. Not here!
Its finished.
I see that your experience with TBL hasn't been all that much better....I think you are welcome to reactivate your FR account.
