And your logic is flawed regarding drawing attention to crazy gun laws. Progressives and gun-grabbers will use this problem to demand more uniform and consistant gun laws, ie...more laws.
I do recall that at one time New York State refused to extradite black people charged with felonies back to Mississippi because they feared they would not get a fair trial. The victims of these people only got wronged. If New yorkers have problems because of the actions of their state, it’s just too bad. Any one who has not lost the “right” because of conviction of violent behavior and or a felony or because of mental illness and who have not been pardoned or pronounced cured has the right to carry any where in the United States, we have just given up that right and need to take it back.
