There is no requirement for a presidential permit to lay pipe anywhere in the United States, provided the line doesn't extend across the border into Canada. LOL. I love it!

Excellent! I had wondered if they would figure out a plan to bide their time until Obama get tossed from office. This looks like that plan.

Oh please..........Money is the mothers milk of american politics. Simply put, the oil producers interest did not outbribe the environmental coalitions both in short term and long term funding to the Obama Administration, DNC and it’s leadership.

It will be funny to see how Obama reacts to getting bypassed, like he bypasses Congress when he can’t get what he wants.
The “people” just can`t wait for him so we will do it without him. You have to love it !

Obama will just invent a new power and stop it anyway.
He will "deem" it all a part of a larger project and then act as if the entire project were being done all at once.

They have forgot the communists party chief King Obama and the EPA. These rotten communists will find a way to stop it. I hope not but the power of our dictator is huge.

What I don’t understand is why Canada needs a pipeline for crude to the gulf for refining. For the same money, Canada could build its’ own set of refineries, become a real player, and sell the fuel anywhere.

Go under, go over, go around, but whatever way, go through.
A positive decision could have been provided in five days, if The Won did not have his head up so far that he has to have a lens placed in his navel to see to navigate.
If the Republicans cannot pick up this issue and beat the current regime in the White Hut over the head with it, then they have no business even offering up a candidate to replace him. This is custom-made, it is of the right size and the right issue to slam into the very gut of the opposition, making points that could not be challenged for generations.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that the other side isn't the environmentalists, but rather oil producers in the Mid-East. Pumping millions of new barrels of oil hurts them the most. On the other hand, it is always possible that no one is bribing Obama, but rather he is intent on harming the country for free.

TransCanada Corp. is considering building U.S. portions of its Keystone XL pipeline and later seeking approval of an Alberta link "Later", translated in this case as, "when there isn't an America-hating toad in the White House."
