Canada Looks at Alternatives to Nixed US Pipeline (Obama blows it. Canada now looking to China)

Canada is looking at alternatives for exporting its oil since U.S. President Barack Obama announced he was blocking a pipeline from Alberta to Texas.

A pipeline executive said Thursday that the company was weighing whether to build a segment of the line — from Oklahoma to Texas — that wouldn't require U.S. State Department approval. And government officials said Canada would push harder for a pipeline to the Pacific Coast, where oil could be shipped to China.

At the same time, Canadian officials said, they are hopeful the 1,700-mile (2,740-kilometer) Keystone XL pipeline will be built.

Alberta Premier Alison Redford, the leader of the Canadian province that has the world's third-largest reserves of oil, said that while Canada is disappointed at Obama's decision, the government believes Obama has made it clear the U.S. would consider a new Keystone XL pipeline application with a new routing.

The last six words between the parentheses are not really needed and could be replaced by “!!!!!!”

Who is Obama serving besides himself? Who paid for his decision? Who else benifts from it? These are questions the MSM will never, never ask.

To all Canadians:

Please forgive us this aberration- for many years we have trivialized our God-blessed common Anglo-Saxon roots.

When we were up, we didn’t need you and your euro-centrist liberalism.

As our manufacturing base eroded and debt exploded, you quietly returned to conservatism and resource-based bounty.

Now, we are being led as sheep to slaughter as liberals weaken us extra-Constitutionally, finally causing a vestigial component of Patriots to awaken.

We are in this together, my Canadian FRiends, and you have my undying loyalty and respect, which has always been due you and the Crown. Australians, New Zealanders and the remnants of the Empire all included.

Where's our congress who is supposed to be putting USA first? For over 35 years our POTUS and congress both have refused expansion of domestic oil exploration, drilling, and building more refineries with piping grid. It makes perfect sense to build the pipeline and no sense not too. If the Enviro-Nazi’s don't like like it? Let them walk. There is no reason we should not be free of foreign oil or at least have the option available too us production wise too refuse it and not suffer for it.

Obama blows it?

This is not what Obama blows.

This was a deliberate act of sabotage of the American economy, by a non-uniformed enemy combatant.

This should have come up in the debate tonight!

We have three types of politicians deciding our national policies on oil. Those who pander unconditionally too the Environmentalist and let them make the rules. Those who pander unconditionally to the Oil Producing Nation leadership and let them make the rules. And last but not least those who pander unconditionally too both.

Obama is pushing Canada and their long-term crude export contracts right into the arms of the Chinese. On purpose.

He has to keep his Red/Green Leftbase energized, and "word" is that this is the bare minimum the Moonbats will settle for, to keep working for him this year.

It's a disaster, and the GOP ought to make this a referendum on the whole Left, not just Barky. Weld the Moonbats to the pipeline decision and the prospective export of future Alberta production to China, then weld Barky to the Moonbats.

Any of the guys running for president should ask Canada to wait before they do anything, and say that one the first day they are in office he would sign the paperwork for the go ahead. That would be a big help in getting him elected.
