But what about the argument that if you're going to have a Democrat in office regardless, it's better to have one that is officially labeled a Democrat?

If we're stuck with Romney, then I'd rather have Obama take credit for all the bad Democrat policies that will be flowing from the Whitehouse. People might eventually learn that Democrats make bad politicians.

Also, there is always the "pray for gridlock" argument: make sure that the president and congress are from different parties because politicians only make things worse, and gridlock keeps the damage down to a minimum.

Basically, no way am I voting for Romney. No way.

AMEN!

If we elect our Obama, i.e. Romney, we are WORSE off because there will be no fighting against him. No. I will never ever vote for RINO Romney. I won’t ever vote for Hussein, but don’t try that silly scare tactic to get me to do your bidding oh GOP elite.

I've heard that same strategy time and time again for years, and I think it's foolish. I have no desire to live under a scorched earth just to point fingers at Democrats and say, "See? We told you this would happen."

So I will vote for whomever the Republican candidate is: Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, ...
