SPOT ON. NAFTA Mae Newt got a Vietnam deferment and now he’s letting his kids help fight his ex-marital battles? This isn’t the sort of man I want answering the White House phone at 3AM! What would he do at that point - wake up the kids???
The only people who know what truly occurred in this marriage are Newt and Marianne. Everything else is hearsay.

With a charge like that a guy has no chance. This is a job for a woman. Women voters MIGHT listen to another woman, but their ears and minds are closed to whatever the guy says. Fact of life.

Watch the debate tonight -— he will surely be asked about this... again. It’s old news, save for the new made-up “open marriage” claim.

The fact is, Newt had an open marriage with Jackie and an open marriage with Marianne — they just didn’t know it until after the fact.
It’s kind of ridiculous to fall all over oneself to deny that one asked for an open marriage when one was in fact conducting himself as if he were in an open marriage. And everyone in Washington, including the Clintons (see Marianne’s interview of 2010) and except Mrs. Gingrich, knew it.
At this rate, it wouldn’t be surprising if the third Mrs. Gingrich discovers she’s been in an open marriage, too.
It’s like: give Newt a medal for not asking his second wife for permission to cheat on her when he was cheating on her already and anyway.
