The woman has MS, a life long and incurable disease!
And how would the daugthers know what went on between Newt and Wife #2 - they were girls from Wife #1.
I cannot believe the hatred on this thread. It certainly shows me the contempt for women. Is every woman Newt married or had sex with bitter, sick, unbalanced? Has anyone considered Newt might be the problem?
I would guess after tonight we are going to see a string of women come out of the woodwork professing affairs with Newt, even during his marriage to Wife #3. It worked for getting Herman Cain out of the race and his were just allegations.
She said in 1995, after being separated for 6 years and reuniting:
The Inner Quest of Newt Gingrich (1995: Marianne Promised To "Undermine Everything" For Newt)
What happens if Newt runs?, I ask.
"He can't do it without me," she replies. "I told him if I'm not in agreement, fine, it's easy" --she giggles at her naughtiness. "I just go on the air the next day, and I undermine everything...I don't want him to be president and I don't think he should be."
Really dear...I see more women freepers calling Marianne on her very old bitterness than I do a few like you playing the estrogen card and calling us all women haters.
Cain had bimbo eruptions and payoffs popping up everywhere. Newt has a mad ex wife 20 years later.
Plenty folks have mad ex wives and ex husbands.
Not many have a trail of shady women and money paid following them around running for POTUS if they are a Republican
Are you still mad about Cain...don't feel bad...today he endorsed you for POTUS in all his wisdom.
Remember when FR used to slam the left for trashing the women who came out with stories of infidelity?
Well, well. Looks like FR has adopted leftist tactics, doesn't it?
I don’t know if she has MS now, but Marianne didn’t at the time of their divorce. She had a condition that could lead to MS.
She has a right to be bitter about her divorce, but she doesn’t have the right to destroy a man’s career because of it.
Nobody is questioning Newt’s philandering ways, but the fact that America is well on the way to losing everything and Gingrich is the only presidential candidate capable of turning things around makes his personal life a non-priority.
Also, if you look at almost every past president or Forefather, most of them were problematic by the standards that we are judging Newt. George Washington is about the only one that could get a pass by those standards.
What goes on in the intimate lives of married people is personal. Obviously, when a marriage fails there are strong feelings. My experience is both sided usually have their reasons and grievances. That stuff is better left private, for all concerned.
What I find disgusting is this obviously still angry woman is talking about very private and intimate details of her divorce to hurt her ex before an important election. And the press is happy to cooperate. This does nothing to advance women's rights, it's revenge, pure and simple.
Do you recall Obama did the same thing to clear out a formidable Republican Senate candidate when he somehow got access to supposedly sealed divorce records?
