Yes to Newt, no to Romney, and no to a brokered convention. A brokered convention would certainly be “interesting”, but the end result would be “RINO” heaven. I expect that Romney would end up being the candidate after all. Either him or someone worse.

I’m not convinced Newt survives. He will get the Cain treatment - and it’s even more believable with Newt. So the grass roots better start organizing for a brokered convention, or get left with a coronation of Romney.

Hitching the conservative cart to Newt is a big mistake in my opinion. He is demonstrably unprincipled when it comes to conservative causes. How can any conservative ignore this?
