I don’t know, Miss Magnolia. After listening to the sound byte that Rush played....Newt’s going to have to address it to some degree.
His wife’s interview is her interpretation of what Newt said. Rush gave his own......I have no idea what Newt actually said or didn’t at that time (regarding the “open marriage” bit). Newt can’t say much, but he should make that part of it clear, if that was not what he was asking for.
ABC is in league with the White House to take out obama’s opponents....I agree with Rush on that one.
There are a lot of people hoping for that to happen.
I like Newt and really don't give a damn about his past personal life. I only care what the person we elect does once they get into office. Rick Perry's speech today suspending his campaign and endorsing Newt was a good speech and puts him in strong position for Veep with Newt.
I also like that the Palins have endorsed Newt and that Newt would like to have her in the administration in a large way. Add Newt's commenting that he'd like John Bolton as Sec of State and you start to get the idea that a Gingrich administration would be staffed with people that would make the tea party crowd proud. Some things to think about.

We might as well. We are having Rombama and McNewt forced upon us, both of whom would lose to Obama. At least, between the two of them, Newt acted conservative for a few years before heading off into Progressive Land.
I would hope you aren’t insinuating because I don’t support Noot at the moment I’m letting the media select my candidate. I didn’t support Noot before this interview.
I don’t care about Noot’s eternal life or relationship with God; I care about his political life and how conservative his potential presidency will be.

I may WELL be in the minority here, but after listening to that sound bite, where Newt allegedly said “you want me all to yourself”.....that comment alone tells me that perhaps the wife was clingy and needy and always wanted newt home and not travelling, as a politician does...it does NOT immediately have me thinking Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh he wants an open marriage..
To me, that is a leap even Evil Kneivel couldnt make!

Palin VP is a dog that won’t hunt...we have seen that tune, and it did not play well the first time....She AND WE would be far better served if she were Sec Energy or some such.
Allen West is also not my first choice....not that thrilled with some of his votes in COngress., but I do like the man..if he is looking to be re-districted out, I would look to someone of his ilk for Sec Def.
I wanted Bolton as Sec State, but he screwed the pooch with me, when he endorsed Mittens...I am undecided on VEEP, but I still like Mike Pence...or Newt could REALLY go Rogue and pick Duncan Hunter who KNOWS about CHINA ;-)

That was my point, MagUSNRET. What did Newt really say? Was the “open marriage” concept a correct interpretation by the former wife? Everyone else is making the interpretation for him. Only he knows what he meant.
