He cheated on his first wife WITH her, why should she be surprised that he did it again.
She looked better in my eyes as the ex wife, who was dissappointed, than the ex-wife who wants to kill her ex-husbands chance’s at the Presidency as payback.
Payback is what she wants, Her pound of flesh.
She has been laying in wait for years to extract that pound of flesh and now shehas take her shot. Now she can go off into obscurity as the bitter wench she is.

Funny, you assume that I am supportive of her or attacking Newt, though all I did was point out that the woman had the right to be bitter about how she was treated.
As for the fact that she was "the other woman" in his first marriage; yeah, I have always been amused when a person who has an affair with a married person is shocked when that person does the same thing to them. I used to give one of my thrice married friends fits over that very thing when he would complain that he thought his wife might be having an affair. I would say . . . well, she did the same thing with you, why would you expect anything different?
I am offended by Newt's behavior and I blasted Clinton as unsuitable for the Presidency, because he had violated his marriage vows. How can we trust a man who has already proven that solemn oaths mean nothing to him?
I have chosen to support Newt in spite of that for two reasons, 1) he appears to have truly undergone a spiritual rebirth in his conversion to Catholicism, and 2) we are in such desperate straits that I am willing to overlook his shortcomings for his exceptional ability and accomplishments. I guess you could say that desperate times require desperate measures.
