I guess they just want to turn a blind eye to the sad pathetic truth of Newt Gingrich, because if they really looked they would not like what they saw, and they'd rather live in Bizarro world.

The whole GOP field sucks...it just boils down to the one that sucks the least.....and that would seem to be Newt. Although I probably would vote for Santorum over Newt as of now.

My first choice is the dream of a brokered convention.

Absent that, it has to be Santorum. Romney is bad, but we've survived Romney types before. Newt is the worst of both worlds - I trust him as a 'conservative' as far as I can throw his fat butt, he's an unstable megalomaniac, he's the epitome of the corrupt establishment we've been fighting and he has opposed limited government conservatism and conservatives for years, and he's a sure loser against Obama.

Hi. If you are a registered South Carolinian as I am, please reconsider. (I suspect you’re a UF fan from Dallas-Ft. Worth.)

Originally, I was for Santorum because of his supposed Christian stances. Now, I have my doubts about his trustworthiness, but that’s just me.

Somehow, Santorum reminds me too much of Romney; it’s how he talks about himself too kindly. I sense the possibility of a Romney/Santorum ticket in November and I don’t like it one bit.

Please glance at my post number 90. Thanks.
