I think its all about his rousing debate performance. PPP asked about Palin’s endorsement and it’s not a positive factore in SC.
I’m telling you, most people say negative ads don’t work and I also believe they’re loathe to admit that an endorsement influenced their vote. There’s a stigma to saying you can be manipulated by negative ads or endorsements, which is like admitting you let someone else do your thinking for you. But I believe they both work.
These things aren’t said to pollsters much I gather:
“I love negative ads. It’s great to see everyone hating each other.”
“I didn’t decide until I saw the endorsement from XYZ. I’m not good at making decisions for myself so I like when someone comes along to help me.”
