Here Canada, our neighbor, our friend and ally was trying to help the United States with a pipeline to deliver oil for the nation’s transportation needs and provide jobs for American workers. We slapped them in the face and told them to take their carbon crap somewhere else. Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper was “profoundly dissappointed” in Obama’s decision. Harper has scheduled a trip to China next month to work out arrangements to ship the oil to them.

There are two pipe lines, the keystone one to the USA and one to Kitimet B.C. where the oil will be loaded on supertankers and sold on the world market. The oil is already going through the latter route on rail tank cars.

Absolutely nothing was done “for the environment.” The only effect is to limit USA supply.
