Well I am amazed that I am on the same forum as four years ago. I remember when people here were screaming that Rudy Guilliano had committed adultry, divorced, had several wives etc and could not be supported by conservatives.

Now we have Noot and people here say he has been redeemed or something for all his immorality and want all of us to get on his bandwagon. And the Church has given him an annulment; who knows what that means for children, perhaps they are illegitimate who knows.

What's good enough for Rudy is good enough for Noot IMO.

You got that right. Now if we can just get Santorum, Perry, Romney, Paul, and Obama to drop out of the race, Noot might have a chance.

I agree. The speed at which some Freepers can flip their positions and stated beliefs is incredible.

The problem with Rudy... is that he sat around and did nothing while 40-60% of the babies conceived in New York City were systematically murdered in their mother’s womb.

No dice. Rudy Giuilani supports abortion and homosexuals wanting to make a mockery of marriage. There was a good reason why people who supported him were banned.

We are hardened by now as opposed to the naive purists we were four years ago. These candidates have flaws and faults just as the voters do from which they emerged, and every candidate represent the sins of the Republic very well. Most of us by now get that the purity contest will be decided not in this world but in the next, but we have an election to win right now, and a socialist running away with the nomination, who finally has a threat breathing down his neck on Saturday.

We stick with Newt to get that done. You, however, are free to continue the counting of all the individual nits, bags, baggage, and the sins of each, all the way to hell and back, if that measures up for you as time well spent.
