It will be an issue over and over and over again. The public eats this sort of thing up and Gingrich has enough in his past to feed them for a long time.

Gingrich’s first wife had cancer and SHE filed for divorce long before the surgery. She is still living. Their daughter, Jackie Cushman, wrote an article about and it’s on FR.

It was wife number one who died of cancer and her daughter emphatically denied that her father (Newt) served divorce papers when she was in extremis.
