A beloved Newton grade school teacher is behind bars and facing a host of local and federal child pornography

You know I must be getting old and cynical, because anytime someone mentions an individual in the community that is know for "dedicating their life" to working with children and seems to spend all their time around children and involved in some child related sport or activity, my "pedo" alarm bells start going off...

If its a man doing it mine goes off too, but I usually give a woman a pass. Guess that makes me a sexist pig but I just don't trust men who do that either.

It is not normal for a grown man to want to be around little boys and girls all the time. Something is WRONG! When my boys were 6 to 10, (4 of them). Had a troop leader in his early 40’s tell me his entire life was dedicated to the boys of the community. Asked where his wife and kids were. Said he's never dated because his life was all about the boys. The front door shut I stepped outside and he was never seen in our part of the community again. My wife thought he was just a nice lonely man. He wasn't. He had been trying through her to get my boys in his troop all year. Before I even met him I always said no. Big mistake coming to that door when I was home. Thing is nobody else would listen. What's my proof? For my kids it's simple, "Better safe then sorry forever".
