The court chickened out. What you want to bet all courts in the state would chicken out. Nobody wants to own the hot potato of vetting the eligibility of a candidate.

Keep an eye on this judge’s driveway. You will probably see a new Ferrari there in a couple of weeks.....

Can this person appeal, saying it's an unconstitutional retaliation for trying to exercise his 1st amendment right "to petition the Government for a redress of grievances?"

"The court has no jurisdiction to hear this matter," she said.WHO DOES??? One of the main reasons I am a birther (or more accurately, a NBC'er). EVERYONE DUCKS THE ISSUE and as far as I am concerned, that is more than enough smoke to deduce there is fire.

Well, isn’t THAT special!

Circuit Judge Helen Shores Lee As someone said before, this circuit judge is the biggest liberal on the bench where she is from.

Gingrich is right.
Haul these left-wing Marxist judges before a congressional committee and make them dance on the head of a pin.
The Founders never intended that these lawyers should have the last word on what is constitutional. Impeach these SOBs, get a rope and hang them from their heels.
They have no respect for the rule of law and neither should we for their rulings on law.
How many divisions do lawyers sitting on benches have?

Yeah, but it’s one thing to chicken out, this court took the additional step of bullying this poor guy.
Dunno what to say about this anymore other time to vote this steaming turd OUT!

Could be there are some existing federal laws regarding the use of bribes or cash inducements in regard to lawsuits focused on federal voting rights.
As soon as Holder's out of there someone should keep this one in mind for some prosecutions.

For three years now I have been telling y'all--this is a moot issue. No court will touch it. Save your breath and your money.
To: 1rudeboy
In State court? Good luck with that. I thought that the 1st amendment had been incorporated against the states, but Wikipedia says that the right to petition for redress is only suggested based on some cases.

Lee explained in detail to Sorensen today why she dismissed his suit, citing the state law that strips courts of jurisdiction over election-related challenges unless another law specifically grants the courts that power. Take the issue to where the Constitution places it, the State legislatures.
