Offer $100 per child to parents who homeschool. Charge $100 per child for public schooling. Then stand back.

If the dust settles, we can talk about how computers and virtual reality software should enable anyone to attend any college course online with the same quality of education as those who attend in person, also $100mo.

Every course for every grade should be videoed and put up on the Internet for all to access for FREE! Hey! The taxpayer paid for it. Why should it be hidden?

Next, the textbooks and teacher's guides for every course for every grade should be available in all public libraries. In my county they are not.

Finally, any child who passes a government or private test showing that he has fully mastered a particular subject ( for example: addition facts) should be immediately moved to the next level in that subject.

Any child of any age who passes the government GED or similar private exam should be given an official high school diploma from his local high school, and no child should be given a diploma who hasn't passed it. Imagine the hemorrhaging of students out of the government schools with just that one change. Cost to taxpayers: Nothing!

Finally, all government teachers should be given two months to prepare for the GED, if **they** don't pass it, they should be immediately fired.
