A friend of mine had a nephew with this horrible condition. His parents were never able to hold him. With great care he lived past his toddler years but finally succumbed.
Heart wrenching.

I had to write a research paper on EB about 4 years ago. These kids are often called “Butterfly Children” since their skin is as delicate as butterfly wings. Obviously, this is a very specific disorder within that disorder. How sad. Even our skin is made in marvelous and wondrous ways. We take way too much for granted.
I know somebody with this, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
Just checked out the blog...broke down. I pray for that dear mom who is grieving right now. I’m sure she’s helping many people.
