Your argument is illogical. First you state that the problem was that we had too many conservatives in the race (splitting the non-Romney mote), then you go on to say that Sarah Palin prevented additional conservatives from getting into the race. So we would be better off with even more conservatives in the race how?
Also, Sarah Palin didn't string anybody along. It was her supporters that were projecting and raising expectations that she would eventually get into the race. I remember a few months ago people on the Internet getting all excited over a rumor that she was going to announce on some obscure morning-zoo radio show up in Alaska. The rampant speculation was crazy and out of control. But none of it was Sarah's doing.
We had some real conservatives in the race. Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Herman Cain to name a few. I guess none of them was perfect enough for us so here we are faced with yet another milquetoast RINO as a result.
Actually, except perhaps for Santorum, the real and win-able conservatives believed they had no chance with Sarah. So they waited it out until it was too late.
