My son is deep into LEGO Ninjago. It’s kind of scary how well LEGO has understood the minds of young boys. They probably know what they’re doing with these girl toys.
Right. And alternatively, the faggish, metrosexual fathers in the suburbs can buy them for their sons, if they so choose.
Thankfully, the market will decide, not some social engineering hack at a government agency... Although the way things are going it may one day be the case. Long live free market capitalism!
Rocks, twigs, and mud the original lincoln logs... for those of us who couldn’t afford the other... ;)
Man...the PC crowd has sissified everything...I had Cooties when I was a kid, and they looked NOTHING like that...
I’m a fan of Lego — and Lincoln Logs and other classic toys for boys, which I never was.
Toys these days, meh! Saw a trivia game in the store the other day, called, “FACT OR CRAP.” Bills itself as “trivia with attitude.” I call it culture with coarsening. :(
Buy the old stuff online, it’s better, cleaner, and made in the USA. Or go to the flea market.
Play chess, checkers, poker, Scrabble.
Buy the little girl in your life a nice pink air gun! Trains are cool too — build a model railroad, with a few villages here and there.
Pick up an art set and and old Bob Ross video.
If she’s really, really a GIRL...buy her a rock polisher! She can build her own jewelry :)
They were a popular gift-exchange item with Cub Scouts this year. My sons got some. All our small Lego-bits go in the same container, once the boxes are opened, so they turn into all kinds of bizarre things.
I found the baby drowning Star Wars clone troopers in the dog bowl once. "Die, men ... die ..."
Why stop at Star Wars? Lego should do some Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, or even Star Trek Lego sets! I know some chicks that dig Dr. Who and Star Trek!
You know what they say, old Cooties are the best Cooties (which, of course, is quite different from what my Grandmother meant when she used to call Grandpa "an old coot."
Not sure if they're compatible with Lego, but they sure are darn awesome...!

Star Trek would be good, but Red Dwarf is too obscure for American audiences and Dr. Who only a bit more well known (although it would probably be a big seller in the UK).
If they don't they are complete and total smegheads!
I see only one problem with the product. It’s that red square with the white letters. Stop marketing the product as LEGO. Girls need their own identity.
Exactly. As long as the butch girls aren't forced to buy the female Legos what difference does it make?
How about Long Shapely Legos?...
nully *ducking* and running for cover...
I’m not sue I see the problem here. If she wants to play with regular Lego models and pieces - DO IT. The new ones are for those who don’t want to play with what’s already out there. Sheesh!
Seems this woman was just sitting in her room looking for something to be offended by so she could wave her arms and throw a tantrum.
