I agree Ron Paul is dangerously ignorant when it comes to Iran, and it so happens that Iran is now such an enormous issue that Ron Paul isn't at all acceptable.

That said, I feel obliged to give the devil his due. Ron Paul isn't following blind ambition as did Benedict Arnold, nor is he a Stormfront secret operative. He has been a longtime friend of Walter Williams, whose own views are pretty close to Paul's. He has a point of view which corresponds pretty well to Thomas' Jefferson's, in regard to foreign policy: "...let our affairs be disentangled from those of all other nations..." He sees freedom to the degree that Iran should be free to make nuclear weapons, and no government should intervene because government intervention is just about always bad. Likewise, he sees personal liberty to such an extreme that he is blind to the Muslim threat.

I admire the devotion to liberty and desire to get out of this constant state of war, but his blindness to foreign threats could be devastating to this country and to the world.

I think Paul has some serious issues with his logic and deductive thinking.

I have a difficult time with having empathy for a cancer because the radiologist has been giving it a hard time and may have killed some benign tissue co-mingled with the cancer.

And would Paul please point out to me when Islam was NOT a cancer in it's behavior toward the body public.

Ron Paul is a stone nut. And those that support him are equally as bad.

Paul is talking about their leadership, specifically in context in this video, those who are heading the military and have nuclear ambitions. He isn’t talking about the students and people who try to uprise. In other words, he is talking about having empathy for the very people who have massacred the very people you describe.

Cute attempt at spinning though.

You are projecting sir.

Paul is talking about Iran as a whole, the Mullocracy, Ahmadinejad and the people, or are you admitting Ron Paul is a batsheist imbecile with no clue about how leadership works???

The ones with the nukes and the ambitions to USE the nukes on the Great and Little Satan IS THE LEADERSHIP.

THEY CONTROL THE COUNTRY.

THEY ARE THE ONES WHO WILL LAUNCH THE MISSILES.

THEY ARE THE ONES CALLING FOR OUR ANNIHILATION AND ISRAEL TO BE WIPED OFF THE MAP.

Paul does NOT distinguish the difference between the leadership and the Iranian people. In Paultard's mind, we need to leave Iran alone and let them do whatever.

Obama already did this and allowed the Ahmadinejad regime to CRUSH the freedom movement in Iran while at the same time Obama was aiding the Muslim Brotherhood uprising in Egypt.

Ron Paul would simply let the world go it's own way and leave anyone trying to take over the world and crush any opposition, alone to do whatever they want.

Ron Paul is more likely WORSE than Obama for the Presidency - and these idiotic statements of his just continue to prove it.

It’s time to put Granpa Ron back in his straightjacket, give him his Thorazine and put him back in the attic.

Someone needs to approach Rand Paul and suggest that his father needs to go to a [pleasant, secluded place which specializes in seniors who act like this and get a nice, long rest. Perhaps with that and the right cocktail of pills, he'll be lucid.

I don’t support Paul, but I salute him as he completes his last campaign. He’s wrong on many levels, but fringers are part of a free society.

Unfortunately he has failed in one very large way. He has failed to make young people understand his fiscal responsibility message while succeeding in getting them to support his suicidal foreign policy.

That is too bad as it leaves him a total failure after all these years.

“What’s amazing is that the admirers of Ron Paul on FreeRepublic never come to defend him when his deficiencies are pointed out.”

Is is fun watching the very few that try. The majority simply avoid the facts about how loony and dangerous he is. I’ve seen others say they don’t agree with him on the long list of negatives but they don’t care because he will blah, blah, blah. Never mind that he has never gained support in Congress for anything. And a few, simply deny the long list of facts are true.

“Every day Paul becomes more dangerous and more delusional than the day before.”

Much more dangerous is the fact that too many Americans support someone with his toxic; suicidal views.
There will always be nutcases; but when people fall in line and support a nutcase; bad things can happen.

Absolutely correct.
The supporters of Paul are crazy scary as well.
It does not matter if you show them written or video of what he has said, even using several sources, is is fluffed off as “the man is afraid of him” “or “they know he can beat BHO, or “they are lying” or other such stuff.
If I hear one more time he is a constitutionalists I am going to smack someone.
If I hear one more time he is like the founders, its going to be a kick to the knee cap.
Paul is a lunatic. He is delusional and knows nothing about the founders and the constitution that is real. He is living in some alternate universe with his conclusions.
I am going to start calling him alterpaul.
I have said it before in various ways and I will say it again: Ron Paul is to the constitution as Fred Phelps is to the Bible.

Just heard this morning that Ron Paul is encouraging his son to run for president in 2016.
Rand Paul is starting to sound like his dad now, what will he sound like four years from now, or twenty.

I'm confident that Rand will run in 2020 or 2016 if Obama is reelected and I guess I shouldn't rule out a 2016 primary against RINO President Romney if he wins.

It's the only reason Ron isn't gonna run as an independent which would destroy his son's future in the GOP.

A non-insane, non-senile, non-terrorist sympathizing version of Ron Paul would be tempting for a strong fiscal conservative such as myself. But I don't trust Ron Paul's son to be that person, after all he supports his crazy father and owes his position to him. If his name was Paul Rand he would be have crushed by Grayson in the GOP Senate primary.

So you love the Iranians so much that you want a nuclear Iran, which will lead to nuclear war and millions of dead Iranians. Please tell me that you don’t love Americans, becuase we don’t want your kind of compassion.

It wasn’t spin... It is the absolute truth. Are you, on FR, suggesting people should be judged by what their leadership tells the world? Just wow .

Are you agreeing we should have empathy for the leadership that massacres her people? Just WOW!

Paul should not run for President, it seems like he should just start a religion the way he can get people to agree with the most vile crap.
