Jodi Kantor on Face the Nation, Scheiffer says he’s been reading the book and says he found it quite complimentary. Is Jodi surprised with the reaction from the whitehouse? She says, yes. The Whitehouse has been quite upset with her portrayal of Michelle.
Bob plays the comments of Michelle complaining about being portrayed as an angry black woman. Jodi says she portrayed Michelle as a very strong woman.....why Michelle took offense is beyond her.
Kantor talks about the inner circle that in the past has been portrayed as very united, when in fact it is NOT. Points to Gibbs who did not like Jarrettt and did not agree with her influence. Gibbs stopped taking her seriously after a while.
Kantor gives a warning that people should be aware of this going into 2012. People should consider obama’s management skills in handling his own staff (inner circel) when making their decision in 2012. Oooohhhh, go Jodi.
Still trying to figure out if Jodi’s book is a hit piece with a little sugar on top or another sop to Obama.
If it’s a hit piece, I wouldn’t mind reading it.

Bump!
(I prefer not to be this a conversation, may be a etiquette thing) but my observation would be nice people like Oprah, who I would not characterize as mean, though liberal, realize Rev Wright’s Congregation is not a good place to be. (Did I just say the obvious, or is the media leaving out this point?...)
