It couldn't have been done privately?
Give me a break.
Now we have Mitt's stash?
Did it come from Mitt's TARP income?
Richard A. Viguerie: Romneys Real Bain Capital Problem is His Hypocrisy ".....And the major reason TARP failed to protect jobs was that instead of being a program to keep credit available by moving illiquid mortgage-backed securities off the books of banks, TARP quickly became a no-strings-attached cash infusion to favored insider financial institutions and corporations, whose highly compensated employees are now supporting Mitt Romney.
Among the insiders who received the no-strings-attached cash were Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Deutsche Bank AG, Merrill Lynch, Societe Generale, Calyon, Barclays Plc, Rabobank, Danske, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Banco Santander, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia, Bank of America, and Lloyds Banking Group.
Federal Election Commission campaign finance reports shows Romney banked over $798,000 from employees of TARP recipients...."
Here we have a woman complaining about her loss of job in the context of economic policies and Mittens throws her some cash. This is sheer arrogance and shameful behavior.
I was doing some maintenance work at our church this week when a man in worn out clothes came into the office and said he was hungry and asked if we could help him. I took $10 out of my wallet and gave it to him so he could go to the grocery store for a sandwich.
I didn’t change this guy’s life. But I hopefully gave him the hope and energy to spend a few minutes looking for a way for him to change his own life.
I just hope that none of you giving Romney s... for this act saw me do that (sarcasm).
At least he didn’t bet her $10,000 on something.
Romney’s cheap (see how wonderful I am) publicized trick.
Walking around money? Now done in public. Sheesh.
Now please, everyone is questioning Myth Romney’s motivations here.
That’s not fair.
After the cameras were off, I’ll have you know Myth had his campaign staffers discreetly contact the woman and offer her a ride home on top of his car.
