Indeed. Those who believe in polls should realize that they are like statistics.
The most consistently accurate pollster seems to be Rasmussen, in whose latest poll:
South Carolina Primary: Romney 28%, Gingrich 21%, Santorum 16%, Paul 16%
Rasmussen is pretty standard for most of the SC polls in last few days as well. Mitt leading Newt by 2 to 7 points and Newt 5 to 8 ahead of Santorum.
