‘nuff said.
Romney may still have a small lead, but it has been steadlity shrinking the last week and come next weekend this vte will be absolutely up for grabs. I believe Newt or Santorum still can take it.
If one of them does, then Perry and the other need to bow out so the conservative vote can come together around a single candidate so the race in Florida then also becomes a horse race.
Exactly, Santorum will beat Obamster worse than Newters would
Santorum is like the Stealth Sarah to sneak right up on those commies and kick their little red diapered heinies
I’m worried about the fact that SC is an open primary and I’ve seen comments at the end of local news articles where dems clearly state they will be voting for Romney here in SC. It’s a shame we have an open primary.
I’m in the Midlands of SC and the only campaign signs I’ve seen are for Newt and Perry, no one else. Of course I am in a somewhat rural area. If Romney wins it will be because it is an open primary.
Why are they including Democrats in a poll for the Republican primary?
I am not at all sold on Newt (b/c of AGW) However, Santorum has zero charisma and will NOT win any more primaries, or even come close.
Of those remaining, Newt is best suited to defeat the Statists: Mitt and Obama.
Yep, open primaries, how else can the GOP elites keep the Conservatives down.
The Statists in both parties are determined to keep the ruling class in comfort and in power.
So that is what Newt exudes? Charisma?
The head to head shows Santorum crushing Romney. Newt would lose in a two man race.
If Santorum can crush Mitt, I would be quite happy. Above all, I want Mitt crushed.
I read other non-online polls that had Newt competitive with Mitt.
A true Conservative at the top of the ticket would be ideal, but FOX, the rest of the MSM, the RNC and the rest of the Statist elites are hell bent on making sure a Conservative is not the winner. I hope the citizens can see through all the lies.
>> Why does the GOP allow open primaries to begin with? <<
I think it’s a matter of state law, as enacted by a state’s legislature. And as far as I know, most southern states don’t have registration by party.
Registration by party: KY, NC, FL, LA (for presidential primary only, but this year LA has caucuses, thus far unscheduled).
No registration by party: TX, AR, MS, AL, GA, TN (?), SC, VA (I don’t know about OK.)
I'm pretty sure they can't.
Except the vast majority should KNOW the evil intentions of Obama by now, and the GOP establishment think the LIAR Romney is not only preferable, but the most "electable." No he's not!
Really!!!!!
Nice!
Can't believe you put this out there, Drudge!
Take nothing for granted. There’s a sizable moderate-to-liberal Republican vote in the coastal areas, notably Myrtle Beach, largely comprised of transplants from the North.
An Obama aide has already attacked him. Quick, everyone. Rush to his defense./sarc
Would it be rude to hold up my middle finger in Romney’s general direction?
“Congressman Ron Paul and former Senator Rick Santorum tied for second place with 16 percent support.”
They did a poll in which Newt is not a candidate, and now claim that in the poll Romney trounces Newt?
