Didn’t read the OP, and I’m extremely upset that our “leaders” are more concerned with our enemies than our troops.

These kind of incidents can lead to attacks that can kill troops in theatre. These kinds of incidents are unnecessary. Lack of discipline is neither cool nor professional.
I don’t think these Marines should get the book thrown at them, and I don’t think this is a “big” deal, something worthy of castigating the Marines or the military or the coalition war in general.
You shouldn’t piss on dead people regardless of how they lived and how they died, and you should be able to conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the uniform.
That’s all. It’s pretty basic, this shouldn’t get to political, etc etc etc, hopefully we’ll move on from this one pretty quick.
